Head of Curriculum & Digital

Southwark College, part of NCG, is seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Curriculum for Business and Digital. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key curriculum area and shape high-quality provision across 16–18 study programmes, adult learning and T Levels, within a college committed to transforming lives through education.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership for Business and Digital, driving curriculum planning, quality improvement, staff performance and learner outcomes. You will bring strong expertise in one or both areas, with the leadership capability to develop an ambitious, inclusive and employer-informed curriculum that responds to local and regional need.

You will lead curriculum planning, staffing, timetabling, performance management, budget oversight and qualification delivery, ensuring that provision is high quality, well managed and responsive to employer demand. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will raise standards in teaching, learning and assessment, improve achievement and attendance, and support learners to progress successfully into higher study and employment.

We are looking for a highly effective curriculum leader with a strong track record of improving quality and learner outcomes, leading and developing staff, and delivering excellence in further education. You will be collaborative, credible and solutions-focused, with the energy and vision to lead the next phase of development in this important area.

Southwark College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff to share this commitment.
